DISSC Home Page

The Data Intensive Social Science Center (DISSC) advances impactful data-intensive research at the frontiers of each social science discipline at Yale.

DISSC supports all stages of the research lifecycle by providing or coordinating the resources faculty and researchers need; forming communities of scholars and advancing the science behind creating and using data; and creating and maintaining unique data assets for use by researchers across Yale and beyond.

Programming and Events

DISSC sponsors event and workshops about specific data resources, data methods and techniques, and other mission-relevant topics. Bringing the knowledge and experience of scholars together reduces barriers and improves the quality of research.
