Open and Reproducible Research (ORR)

DISSC encourages transparent research methods and outputs, such as preregistration, pre-prints, open software, and Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) data.

Open research refers to the "rapid and widespread sharing of a range of scholarly activities and outputs, across disciplines… [that] promotes inclusive, transparent and trustworthy research, innovation, and collaboration" (HELIOS).

Reproducible research is work that can be independently recreated from the same data and the same code that the original team used (Turing Way).

Yale Dataverse is a data repository service for Yale University faculty, staff, students, and affiliates to share, preserve, and cite research data. Yale Library hosts and manages Yale Dataverse to ensure research produced at Yale is accessible and discoverable to the global community.
