Open & Reproducible Research Series (ORR)
Join DISSC and the Yale University Library for a series focused on open and reproducible research in the social sciences. We share practices, tips, and guidelines that reinforce transparent research methods and outputs, such as preregistration, pre-prints, open software, and Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) data.
Open research refers to the "rapid and widespread sharing of a range of scholarly activities and outputs, across disciplines… [that] promotes inclusive, transparent and trustworthy research, innovation, and collaboration" (HELIOS).
Reproducible research is work that can be independently recreated from the same data and the same code that the original team used (Turing Way).
