James Carey

Research Data Services Specialist

James Carey is a Research Data Services Specialist at the Data-Intensive Social Science Center and the Tobin Center for Economic Policy. He works on data focused projects to support policy and process improvements. This work includes facilitating agreements with outside partners, supporting data infrastructure development, and assisting with evidenced-based research.

Before joining Yale, James was a Fellow at the Massive Data Institute and the Institute for Technology Law & Policy at Georgetown University, working on ethical uses of data and policy innovations with new technologies.

James holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and a B.A. in International Relations from Hendrix College.
